Gail's Grads is an on-line forum to discuss design challenges, ideas, ask questions, post photographs of your work, and in general make new friends who enjoy the same type of activities as you. Gail's Grads is open to anyone who has taken a class with me. Members are welcome to display or discuss different types of quilting that you enjoy, and are not limited to the style taught in class. This way we can all learn from each other! This is also the place where you will see my newest designs, and get inside information regarding my teaching schedule, and other bits of trivia! If you've ever taken one of my classes and did not receive an invitation, e-mail me to enroll. In the body of your e-mail, state which class you took, the year of the class, and the location.

Group members are invited to participate in the 2008 Design Challenge. The theme for this year is “Favorites”. It might be your favorite song, book, animal, location, etc. Quilts may be any size. Entries are due no later than March 31, 2008! The winner will receive a small quilt, designed and stitched by me - Gail Garber! The panel of judges will be the staff at Ann Silva’s Bernina Sewing Center in Albuquerque, and I will not influence the judging. So, if I see your quilt in progress that is okay too! All quilts will be on display at Bernina throughout April 2008, and I am also looking for additional venues to display entries, and will have more information about that later.
