As it stands now, the Texas Rangers have successfully secured four positions in their starting rotation for Opening Day. The talented lineup includes Jacob deGrom, Nathan Eovaldi, MacKenzie Gore, and Jack Leiter. However, the fifth starter's role remains uncertain, raising questions among fans and analysts alike.
The organization is undoubtedly optimistic about Cody Bradford making a healthy return to the rotation by May. Yet, even if everything goes according to plan with Bradford’s recovery, and provided that all other pitchers remain injury-free during the spring training, there will still be a need for a fifth starter to fill the gap until Bradford is ready.
With that in mind, we invite you to participate in our Rangers Reacts Survey today. We want to hear your opinion: who do you believe should step up as the team’s fifth starter?
