The T1 Phone, a Trump Mobile creation, is real—sort of. I had the opportunity to see it during an hour-long video call. While it's not the final production model, it's close enough to spark excitement. It features a 5,000mAh battery, 512GB of storage, and supports up to 1TB microSD cards. The camera setup is impressive, with 50-megapixel sensors for both the selfie and main rear cameras, and a glimpse of the UI suggests an ultrawide lens and possibly a telephoto option.
Thomas confidently states that the T1 Phone matches the specifications of top-tier phones on the market this year, even comparing it to phones over $1,000. The final camera performance and additional features like waterproofing or wireless charging remain unknown. The T1 Phone is now six months late, but it has cleared FCC certification and is awaiting T-Mobile certification, expected in mid-March. One surprising detail is that the phone isn't 'made in the USA.' Instead, final assembly takes place in Miami, involving the last 10 pieces.
